i've always loathed the idea that all there is to becoming a follower of Jesus (a Christian, if you will) is saying a prayer under your breath without anyone looking around, followed promptly by a timid raising of the hand. Maybe salvation messages should go like this: "Go. Get up and go. Go announce to those that have wronged you and those that owe you something and those that you feel you deserve revenge against and forgive them. Walk away from your grudges and your bitterness. Forgive everyone or else God will not forgive your sins. Go. Get up. Stop sitting there and go."
