Care for the oppressed
I love that David talks about the oppressed in vs. 9 and says that he is always a shelter for them and a refuge in times of trouble. I pray that for my oppressed friends in the inner city. Then in vs. 18 he says, "The needy will not be ignored forever; the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed." Maybe it is time that I help renew hope to the needy and poor. My homeless friend Kyle I pray can see the renewing hope of Jesus Christ in his life.
