Fasting.... This is not a hot topic in the American church. There is not a"Purpose Driven" fasting book that is a bestseller. There is not crowds of people flocking to fasting seminars.Let there be a conference on last days prophesy or a christian music concert and it is packed.Now there is nothing wrong with christian concerts, books or conferences. These are tools to encourage the Body of Christ.In third world countries revival is taking place. They fast. They pray. History reveals revivals have occurred in part because people fasted.What would happen if fasting did become a hot topic in the American church? More than that, what would happen if fasting not only became a hot topic but something the American church put into practice on a regular basis? Something to think about.
