When Eve was misled by the serpent, she followed the serpent's leading and used a plain name for God--there was no covenant implied...and got into trouble. Now in Genesis 4, we see her saying God's most holy name, Yahweh. She had repented and God's name is to be honored. It puts everything into perspective.
