Crying Blood
Human civilization has always been beset by the most egregious injustice. And God created us all, as his image-bearers, with a conscience, the ability to empathize with the hurting. Yet, over the course of our lifetime, we gradually become desensitizes to these injustices. (This is why we can pour thousands of dollars of our income into homes, furnishings, vehicles, entertainment, and the like while people around the world suffer the most brutal hardships.) Still, God hears these innocents' blood as it cries out from the crimson-stained dirt of the earth. Will we also listen?
