It seems to me from reading this verse, that God isn't interested in having a bunch of "magicians" and "illusionists" working for him. His name isn't a name to be associated with "hocus pocus" "abracadabra" or "alakazam" Want God wants is a people who are willing to follow Him no matter what the cost. When we decide to be purposeful in following Christ, people will see the real thing and not an illusion, and they will know the difference.
