This is one of the best examples of friendship that i can find. these men wanted their friend to be healed by Jesus, but could not get to him through the crowd, but that didn't stop them. the climbed on the roof, dug a hole in it, and lowered him down by their own strength. then the pleaded with Jesus for his life. in matt 9:2 and Luke 5:20 it says "because of THEIR faith, your sins are forgiven." not the help they might've been expecting (or maybe that's what they were really after?), but healing still. On top of that, Jesus make fools of the Pharisees. AND then heals the man anyway. what a day! but what friends this man had, to take such care of him and do what it takes to get him care.
