Psalm 18:20 ASV, Psalm 18:30 ASV and Psalm 18:32 ASV

It seems presumptuous, and honestly inaccurate for the Psalmist to claim his salvation on the basis of [his] righteousness. We know that no one is good, and on this basis, I feel a hopeless, disqualified from the help of the Lord because my hands are not clean. But verse 32 makes all the difference. God made my way blameless. He gives me strength and sets me secure on the heights. We need to be blameless, to have clean hands, but we can only be blameless if the blameless one makes us that way.
