Matt 7: The Narrow Gate
S: Matthew 7: 14 "But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it."
O: That despite the gate being hard to find, and the pathway through the gate is difficult -- it's still the gateway to LIFE.
A: This verse is a little bit harsh, but I think it's a good reminder that few can find the gate and walk the road by themselves. Those already on the path need to help others who are also on the journey. It's also a great reassurance to me that life was never meant to be easy. I know that doesn't exactly sound great -- that the road is difficult, but I think it is. If my life is tough -- I'm going to assume I'm on the right gateway. The gateway of life.
P: Help me to be thankful for the burdens and troubles that I come across, thank you that you have provided a way out. Help me on this narrow and difficult road.
