God's Chosen
God has already decided that Abraham will be the father of all nations. Wow, what a huge calling! You would expect Abraham to be some perfect human that has caught God's eye, right? Well if you've been reading about dear Abram before this time we have seen him do some pretty bad things. Even after God told him the plan, he still didn't get his act together. What's amazing that I take away from this is that God, even knowing the sin that would come from Abraham and his future generations still chose to bless him. There is absolutely nothing we can or can't do to keep God from blessing us! He's already made His decision! Now are we going to continue to question God, or are we going to embrace His blessings and bless Him back by the way we live?
