A ground without a foundation is probably not the best place to build a house on! Independent Pride, is this the soft ground that You are talking about that will not hold through the trials of this life? Hmmmm! Selah! Jesus keep me from being completely destroyed by impulsive, independent, pride that comes and goes in shallow bursts of humanism, wreaking havoc with the surface emotions of my soul. Help me to live deeper than what is apparent, live deeper with You, beyond appearances through faith and by humble belief!
