A Peace in the Action
Chapter 1: Joy in suffering.
Chapter 2: Joy in serving.
Chapter 3: Joy in believing.
Chapter 4: Joy in the Lord.
1) IN THE LORD, WE FIND RELATIONAL PEACE.
I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whos
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
epieikes (ep-ee-i-kace') - gentle, moderation, patient. Greeks explained the word as justice and something better than justice.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
2) IN THE LORD, WE FIND INWARD PEACE.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true…noble…right…pure…lovely… admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will
3) IN THE LORD WE FIND CIRCUMSTANCIAL PEACE.
I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances
Learning Contentment:
1) Avoid comparisons.
2) Cultivate gratefulness.
• Discontentment makes rich people poor and contentment makes poor people rich.
I can do everything through (Christ) who gives me strength.
Questions for reflection:
1) What relationship(s) need healing?
2) What can you do to offer something better than justice?
3) What worry do you need to release to God?
4) In what areas of life do you need to be content?
5) Are you experiencing joy
