Son of a what?
Imagine that you want to meet the President. All can go to the White House. Most of all can enter and take the tour, but very few can accually meet the man, let alone ask for him to do anything. Now Imagine that the Vice president is your father! How much more confidently could you approach the most powerful man in all of the civilized world, to ask him for what ever you may need? We all want to be showered in God's majestic Grace and Mercy to help us in our times of need. The problem is that sometimes, because of "where we're at" or "what we've done", we don't feel as though we deserve it. Based on those actions alone this is true. But the truth of the matter is this, Jesus is our usher, our friend that allows us to walk up to God, shake his hand, have him hug us, (already knowing what we need) so that we can then ask him to be gracious enough to help us through whatever situation we're going through. The key to this is our relationship with with Jesus, the Christ who lived and died to be our sacrifice and was raised up to be our redeemer! His love for us is awesome, far reaching, so complex that we may never fully understand, yet it's very simple. Just look to Him daily, talk and walk with Him as often as you can, then You'll see that LOVE fully manifest in your own life. So when that day comes that you need the Lord's Grace and Mercy, He will be right there waiting to give it to you more abundantly than you even realized that you needed it! Today let God be GOD in your life. Show Him that you love and appreciate Him for who and what He is in your life.
