What makes this so difficult is that somethings it takes a while to see the bad fruit appear. My first thought is Ekhart Tolle and the New Earth that many Christians are following. The fruit "appears" so good. It reminds me of Eve. The fruit looked good to eat and she ate and it was too late. Sometimes we can go down far on a really bad path before realizing that this isn't good.

It makes me think that for that not to happen we need to become very familiar with God's path and truth and learn to trust him and obey Him. That last part is importance. Adam was given the command. He knew they truth, but lost his way when he thought God was not indeed being completely truthful.
