Jesus always seems to be upping the ante. He doesn't let his followers stay still for long or become complacent. He reiterates again here that are you in or are you out? Do you fear the world more than me? Do you fear your family or love your family more than me? It's not that you don't love your family, or your life, but do you love them more than God?
