As familiar as these verses can be, its still amazing to me that Jesus equates Himself to the “least of these”. He does not say that it is “like” it was him or it’s “similar” to doing it for me. Jesus makes it plain that it is Him we are doing things for. I don’t really understand that but it must be true. The apostle John explains this again in I John 3:17 and 4:20-21. Lord help me to love and serve You more by loving and serving those in need more.
