This verse shows the importance of actually caring when you tell someone about Jesus. Don't just talk the talk, walk the walk. The verse talks about how you should reach out to others, stoop down and share their burdens. They want to feel like someone genuinely cares, not just that they want you to come to their church. Think about it. If you just lost your best friend in a car crash or if you were financially in need or if you were low on self-confidence, which would you rather have: some person, with a plastic smile telling you they're sorry, but you have to get over it someday and inviting you to their church, or someone crying with you and sharing your hurt and pain and tears, and trying to make it better? I dont know about you, but I would chose the second one for sure!
