Mordecai was definitely putting the pressure on Esther without reservation. So much for the woman being the weaker vessel. He inspired her and his words filled her with the courage and motivation to follow through with this sacrificial act. She in turn asked him to pray and fast with her and he did all that she asked. I love the teamwork and the unity of spirit for the sake of delivering God’s people.
