Amazing! After paying off Judas to betray Jesus, they suddenly have a moral dilemma about taking back the money for the Temple treasury??? And then, when Judas repented, they told him to get lost, essentially rejecting one of their core duties as priests. How easy it is for mankind to justify moral amendments to suit our own self interests, while at the same time maintaining our coveted self righteousness.
