David Gets It
even from the OT times we see that true God fearing people understood that reconciliation did not come from burnt sacrifices but from following the will of God. it was not by ceremonial traditions that a person spoke to God, but in the words of the heart and the intimacy. David was intimate with God, by the words and poetry he created, you could see that his heart and mind was on the things of God and he desired to follow him wholly. what a wonderful example he is to us!
