God heals - not just physical illness, but also rescues us from spiritual death. Jesus instructs His disciples to do two things (v.2): sharing of the gospel, and healing the sick. Jesus' ministry also involves this same two things: teaching about the Kingdom of God, and healing the sick.
God the provider (v.3). In my journey, I won't need walking stick (relying on something else besides God to guide my path ahead), bag (holding onto/storing things), food, money, change of clothes. The only thing I need is obedience. Once I obey, God will open doors, and He will provide. Lord, help me to be obedient, and to be running hard after You always. Amen.
