Rom 7- the insufficiency of an unregenerate heart
The law propelled sin. It quickened, stirred and excited sin. The law show us how sinful sin is. The law bring to light the insufficiency inherent within man to live a Christ exalting life..."I am of flesh, sold under sin." Thank God for the Redeemer who bought with a price and bought us back. God was the purchaser and God was the price (His blood) and through this... God was propitiated (His wrath was appeased) and we were propelled into a relationship with Him that abounds with mercies that are new every morning!
