A gigantic God in a finite heart
Joseph has acknowledged that all that he is and all that he has are the results of the Sovereign hand of God. Joseph was not primarily concerned about dishonor ing Potiphar. His primary concern was the devaluing of the Glory of the Holy God. When God's glory is not valued supremely in the eyes of men sin becomes a prize worth attaining. "How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?" God must have been gigantic in the finite heart of Joseph.
