Simon and Andrew didn't delay. They didn't ask questions. They didn't request a sign. They didn't want to talk about it, weigh their options, make a list of pros and cons, even pray about it. They immediately dropped what they were doing and followed. And it wasn't like they just dropped their hobby and decided to give this Jesus a try. Their profession was to fish- it was who they were. They basically left behind who they were to follow Jesus. We are told to do the same thing- lay down our thing, who we are, our will, what we want out of life...and follow. With no delay. No questions. Just trusting in Jesus.
