How stupid- these Pharisees were more worried about the rules than the people. A hurting man who needs healing but to heal him was against the rules. Whaaa? It's crazy. I love that Jesus got angry here and healed him in front of the Pharisees. I just think about church life- are we too hung up on the "how we've always done" stuff, the traditions, and the rules to notice the hurting right beside us. Man, I can think the Pharisees are stupid all day long but are we, as the churhc, hung up on our traditions and ways of doing things to the point that the lost and hurting don't feel welcome or understood or loved? It's obvious what's more important- healing. Period.
