Exodus 3:10 ASV

i would be a little freaked out if God showed up in the form of all consuming, but never destroying fire and said, "hey, i pick you...get to it." this is a very powerful verse to me. maybe God doesn't reveal himself to us (in this age) like he did back then because he knows we would never be able to handle it. we have gotten weak through the ages, and i think our hearts would just stop...or explode if God tried to show himself to us
