The Israelites travelled from place to place led by the pillar of cloud and fire as the Lord commanded. Yep at this point, the word said Israel did as the Lord commanded. They were completely in the will of God. Still, there was no water to drink!
Wow! This will mess up some people's theology! Just because we have problems, does not mean we are out of God's will.
Israel did exactly what God commanded; yet there was no water to drink. They were in the will of God but in a difficult time. It is possible to be completely in the will of God and have problems.
Teachings are out there that say if one is walking in obedience to God there will not be problems.
You have problems? There must be sin in your life! This teaching has caused much heartache in the lives of Christians. This is why it is imperative to study God's word. Also any teaching you sit under ,test what is said by God's word. Any "real" preacher of God's word will appreciate people testing what they preach.
