I read this over both of my sons during there baby dedications. They are growing up in, and we are currently living in a time where living a seperate life from the world while impacting it for the Kingdom is flat out hard. A choice has to be made to either conform to this world and it's ways, or be transformed by a renewel of your mind. Our mind and the different ideoligies that we are taught will trick us into chaseing after what our friends chase after. We have preset dispositions from our upbringing that rage against the type of culture that Christ wants his church to operate in. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewel of your mind. Don't cave to the American pressure of "The good life" choose the Great Life of submitting your will, mind, body, and spirit over your teacher Jesus Christ.
