I grew up like possibly some of you did. In a single parent home on one income that was not that plump. I learned that when you want something that you don't have the cash for you simply pull out a little piece of plastic and swipe it through this little plastic card reader thingy and you leave with your stuff. What a great thing. My problem is that in school I never was that good at either economics or math. I enjoyed history. History doesn't help pay debt down. In trying to instill in my oldest son why he cant get a toy every single time we go to Target is not easy. I don't carry much cash. I pay with a debt card most of the time. He sees me paying with plastic when get nuggets at McDonalds, or gas, or whatever. Look at America now and the current stimulus situation. How does that line up with this? What are we teaching our children? This verse rocks.
