Disrespect of parents
At one time the culture was that children respected their parents for life and of course, things have changed. Nowadays our kids can take us to court for disciplining them, if they just don't agree with our decision on something. Our culture does not breed respect for parents and our society is showing the affects of this. It has been producing this disrespect for some time now, so the fact that some parents are so messed up it's easy for us to say, how can anybody respect them, let alone their children. The thing is, while there is no excuse for real abuse, or neglect, or irresponsibility, the reaction of allowing children to openly speak evil against their parents, or condemn them, is an extreme in the other direction that is paying a big toll on our society.
