40 yrs vs 11 days
How sad that because of their continued disobedience the 11 day journey to the promised land lasted for 40 years...one year for each day that the spies went into the land...long enough for the entire generation to die off so that they were not able to see their inheritance. We MUST be obedient if we are to be rewarded with the good things God wants to give us!
