A Prayer for Community
What a powerful prayer! And it directly correlates to community - how we do church. In order for us to live in harmony in such a way that Christ is glorified, we must learn to endure. This speaks directly to the nature of church. It is INTENDED to be a place where feelings and patience are tested. It is not MEANT to be fun. (Not that it's wrong when it is.) It is not MEANT to be pleasant. It is not MEANT to feel right. It is MEANT to grow us.
