Paul is breaking it down for the church of Corinth. I'm no super intellectual freak. I'm common as you, but I made a decision "not to know anything among you except Christ and him crucified." One mission and one person. Paul did this with fear and trembling which shows he was scared. Not self confident in his ability but scared. "but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power," People were healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit, some probobly even spoke in tongues. He did all these things that the church at Corinth would get a B-12 shot of FAITH. "Not in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." Come on now . Ya'll are acting goofy. Straighten up.
