not idolatry
I spent time in a church that did not allow any depictions of angels, no nativities, etc b/c they did not want to even hint at idolatry. It took a long time after I left there before I was ok with having those things, though now I do own a few. It's interesting to read here that God specified that the tapestries would be embroidered with images and then the carvings on the ark of the covenant... Guess it's not so bad after all as long as I know I'm not worshipping those things
