The Days of Old
I think David is such a special man. He admits his heart breaks as he watches the world around him change. Once he used to walk among worshippers. His people sought after God. Now he walks among scoffers, the people taunt him and dismiss God. His heart breaks for his people. his prayer and his cry are for the world. It is the same now. We see our world running farther from God, taking him out of everything. then they cry "where is your God?" Do they not see that they have banned him from their own lives? it tears me up seeing people run from what they need most.
