One of the things that amazes me about God in the context of Him calling me to pastor a church is how His Holy Spirit works. I get inspired by what I am reading in His Word, through a circumstance an event, song or even a book that I’m reading and then use that inspiration to put together a sermon series. Then it goes on a calendar for the year and as it gets closer I prepare for it. When the time comes to bring the series two things happen; I was inspired so I am excited to share and teach about it with passion. Then when we get to it, it just so happens that in that time at that moment it’s exactly what individuals in the church needed to hear? How does that work? The Word of God is so powerful and true in that how can our minds ever conceive what He knows we need only that His Spirit is searching us out to reveal the deep things of His Grace and Love that we so desperately need to hear.
