These verses are pretty encouraging when it comes to evangelism for me. Sometimes we're the one that plants the seed. We sort of make the first deposit into someone that tehre is indeed a different way to live. Other times, we water. We add sustinance (or a "yep, it's true") to what has been planted by soemone else. In any case, God is the only one that can bring the growth. We're all his gardeners. Whether we till the ground, plant the seed, water it or are there for the harvest. None of us can take credit- growth took place because God made it happen. We just need to be obedient and tend to the garden. (and for this girl who's managed to kill every houseplant I've ever had along with 3 pots of bamboo which I hear is next to impossible to kill, I'm sure glad God is the one responsible for bringing the actual growth!)
