Genesis 8:1 ASV and Genesis 8:3 ASV

There had to have been a lot of water on the Earth. We are told that it flooded even the mountains in the previous chapter. So where did the water go? The topography, or layout, of the Earth's surface was very different before the flood. A flood of this magnitude would completely reshape the surface of the Earth. Soft layers would cause new upheavals, and valleys would have been created. Much of the water came from the "fountains of the great deep," and much of it probably returned there. Today, our planet is covered mostly by water. More on this subject can be found online at http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/nab/really-a-flood-and-ark
