I hope that all I do pushes people towards God and not repels them. I don't want to be a stumbling block for believers or offensive to unbelievers. I like how the Message says it in verse 24- "our foremost efforts should be to help others live well." It's never about me. I don't think this means we walk around on eggshells worried about offending everyone all the time. But it doesn't mean we're a bull in a China shop with our freedoms either. We must focus on bringing God glory in all we do and putting other people first. This is an all or nothing mentality- in everything we do, we point to God! We go all the way! Not half-way, not kind of, but ALL the way. If we were passionate about glorifying God in all the areas of our lives- even the little things, people would take notice.
