I think it is interesting how the Lord spoke to two people in the passage and they had different reactions to what He told them. One acted very skeptical about what was said and simply replied "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true."

The first, Zechariah, was stricken dumb (without speech) and the second was blessed with a magnificent song of praise.

Unfortunately too many times I am found dumb after hearing from the Lord instead of being blessed
