More Marks of Maturity
Prayer for others is a great marker of maturity. Thankfulness to God is also a great marker of maturity. Paul is happy that other people have faith in Christ & love for people...it doesn’t take much to please a godly person like Paul!!! He sees a deep faith in Christ and a deep love for others being rooted in a hope of heaven. Hoping for heaven is also a mark of maturity.
Paul is so focused on heaven that it seems like such a stark contrast to myself and others around me. Heaven is such a big motivator, and it's not in my life.
My prayer is that the other side of life, heaven and hell, would be the two biggest motivators in my life.
