I always remember nice people
Love is unending! All the other things pass away but love remains. Isn't it true that the people that stand out to you in life are the ones that loved well. The nice folks. The people that loved you when it seemed no one else did. And then to mention maturity aftre all this love business. Hmm... could it be that we've gotten too big for our britches? We think that a deep understanding of God is something other than this basic tenet of our faith. When I was a kid, I was selfish. I didn't think about anyone's needs but my own. My two year old can't be reasoned with when he wants something. Why? Because he's a child. Giving my life to Christ puts me in a new bracket- I can't live for myself and my needs anymore. I choose to put His agenda before mine. That means this basic thing that we think we've understood completely isn't so easy afterall. Turns out, it's the most difficult thing to do. Now, it's a conscience choice I must make in every relationship, inevery situation. Love like Jesus does... or throw a temper tantrum. Faith, which is accounted to us as righteousness is awesome. Hope which is the anchor for our soul and the promise of our future with Him is awesome, too.But above all else, the best thing you can have goes back to those felt boards from Sunday School- L-O-V-E.
