Eat the word
When I first heard this I was so thrown off by the fact that God sent Jesus to be tempted by the devil but I find it so inspirational to hear this. Every time the devil tried to get Jesus to turn away from God he turned to scripture to do other wise. I think it is so awsome that in the Bible you can find all the guidence you would need and that its all you actually need. Jesus even says so "People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." When ever Im tempted all I need to do is turn to God and his food for the soul.
