The great recession
Wow! What a beautiful example of the love a church shows, even when they have no real money to give. It says that these people were flat broke, and yet it also says that they still gave beyond their means. I wonder why the church today can't do the same thing. Why is it that when the economy is down, the church stops giving as much? Maybe it's because we have too many idols that receive our money and attention instead. You think?
