What a marvellous promise Jesus makes to those you put their trust in him. If we put our trust in anything other than Jesus, what do we have to look forward to? Loss. Death. Destruction. In a worldly sense, and an eternal sense, I am sure. But if we put our trust in Jesus, we have in store for us the opposite of those things. Gain. Life. Eternity. And not only that, but Jesus promises that we will have those things in abundance. If we put our full trust in Him we will receive those things in such rich and overwhelming portions, we will never be left wanting. What a promise!
