Luke 5:11 ASV

I never realized until now that just after Simon had probably the largest catch he has ever had, filling two boats, Jesus called him to be his disciple. It says Simon James and John all pulled their boats to shore, left them nets and all and followed him. So the boats were still loaded, as the Bible says, with so much fish it nearly swamped both boats. Jesus did this, I think for many reasons. Most would think to show he is God but I think it was also to make the diciples understand it is not going to be easy. How hard would it be to be at the top of your game in your job and then be asked to step away to follow a leader who shows no means of support. It's had to weigh on the m a lot. In one hand he did the miracle but basically he just told them where to throw the net, on the other hand they saw their work immediately become a success and they could feed their families for a good while. What went on in their heads. Would I be able to make the same decission?
