Command, Act, Result
Jesus commanded Peter to act, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” Peter acted, against his natural knowledge and training, in spite of the fact that the prime time to catch fish had passed. Only after acting did Peter and other get the result of the command.
We should remember that this is how God speaks to us. He commands us to action and he produces the results. Our problem is that we think that he commands us to action and we are to produce the results.
If we do our part, God will do his part. I purpose to hear and obey, how about you?
