Learning from the servant girl
In spite of being wrenched from her home and spiritual community, the servant girl isn't bitter. She is clear-headed and compassionate and doesn't let her lack of social status prevent her from taking a stand to help someone.
There is a temptation towards unfaithfulness in a pagan land, but the servant girl is full of faith and not timid in spite of the potential consequences should Naaman NOT be healed.
She was motivated, managing to convince the man's wife - she did all she could, one link in a chain.
We can learn a lot from her - she saw someone with a deadly disease and wanted to help.
People that WE meet every day are suffering from the deadly disease of sin that WILL end in death. What are we doing about it?
