Do my good works make 'they'' glorify me or God? I am empowered by God through Jesus Christ to be good; to be good. I (must always) give credit to Christ when I 'do' good. When I do good, I pray that God has mercy towards me on how I credit these works. It is easy for me, in my individualistic culture, to say that I did good while implying that it was me who did good because I lacked the confession of the persuasion of God through the changing power of Jesus Christ in me. The tragedy is that it can happen on accident: to credit ourselves. However, I hope to walk in the freedom Spirit more holistically as my good works are credited to the glory of my Father who sits enthroned as Creator of iotas and universes.
