Come Into The Light
This verses of John 3:1-21 contains the story of “Jesus Teaches Nicodemus”. This passage contains the essence of coming into the light of the Lord. It is about establishing an understanding and personal journey toward the divine union with the Lord. It is about living through our heart and soul (the light), not our thoughts and ego (the darkness). Jesus describes how we need to live as Disciples of Christ when he states, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him”. We are not put on the earth to condemn, criticize, or complain. Instead the Lord asks us to be living examples of inspiration, guidance, and hope through actions of service, compassion, and kindness.
It is about living the truth and coming into the light. It is about finding our voice within our inner being and always being in the presence of the Lord. It is about using our voice to inspire others to find their voice. We become “Messengers of Hope”.
May the Lord provide us guidance, strength, courage, and wisdom. May the Lord fill us with faith, hope, and charity. May we give thanks to the Lord for his his love, mercy, forgiveness and grace.
With the Lord's guidance, “thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. That is our role as Disciples of Christ.
